Financial Accounting will teach you the fundamentals of financial accounting from the ground up. You will learn how to prepare a balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, analyse financial statements, and calculate and interpret critical ratios.
Upon completion of the course students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of accrual accounting, describe how basic business economic events affect accounts and financial statements, interpret and analyse financial statements to aid in decision making.
